Summer Law Intern for Summer 2025
We are looking for someone passionate about helping asylum seekers in deportation proceedings and helping immigrants apply for immigration relief affirmatively. The position would entail working closely on cases pending before immigration court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and direct contact with clients. It would include opportunities for court appearances and brief writing. The intern will take part in all the steps of a defensive asylum case. Spanish proficiency required; fluency preferred. Strong research and writing skills. Knowledge of asylum law is preferred but will train the right person. Flexible start and end date and opportunity to work part of the time remotely. We prefer someone who can work full-time for 10 weeks. Both rising 2L and rising 3L law students are encouraged to apply.
