Events

Human Agenda puts on its own signature events, engages in roundtable dialogues on critical human needs, and calls for personal and policy actions to create a more humane and meaningful existence for all. Signature annual events of Human Agenda are hands-on learning opportunities to deepen our understanding and improve our practices with respect to how we live our own lives and how to address the physical poverty and time poverty that harm so many lives.

SAVE THE DATE! Human Agenda will celebrate its 22nd Annual Human Rights Awards on Saturday, December 7 at 6 PM at the South Bay Labor Council, 2302 Zanker Rd, San Jose, CA 95131. Dinner and a cultural program are included.

This year two paramount struggles for human rights and transformative change will be highlighted, and new DECKS awardees will soon be announced for Democracy, Equity, Cooperation, Kindness, and Sustainability. In addition, Human Agenda will offer a Lifetime Achievement Award and a Volunteer of the Year Award.

Don’t miss the South Bay’s premiere celebration of International Human Rights Day, keynote addresses that will awe and touch your heart deeply, and congratulations to local awardees who deserve distinguished recognition for their outstanding contributions.
